How to prepare for CAT Interview?

Here are some of the tips that may help you get ahead of your competitors and lead you to your dream college:
  • Practise , Practise and Practise: You read it right. This is the best way to make yourself comfortable with the actual situation you will be in. The more you practise, the simpler it becomes for you to adjust in the interview room.
  • Formal attire is the key to make a first good impression.
  •  Body Language is crucial: The way you sit, talk and present your views will either make or break the interview. Always smile, no matter in how tough spot you are in don't let the interviewer know that you are nervous.
  • Be prepared in advance: If you are a fresher, know your projects and courses that you have studied. You may be tested on any of the concept you read in your previous institution. If you are a working professional, be thorough with the projects that you lead or was part of as well as your role and responsibilities.
  • Don't hesitate to clear your doubts: It's perfectly fine to clear your doubts and cross question in case you need a clearer idea of what you are expected to answer. In case, you are not sure of the answer you can always tell the truth and don't just answer for the sake of answering.
  • Make it a two-way conversation: One meeting is not sufficient for anyone to know the other person properly but that's what you got to leave an impression, so grasp this opportunity to the fullest. Ask questions to clear your doubts, Tell him how can you add value to the institution and what drove you to this stage.
  • Finally, conclude your interview with a smile and a thank you note
