The involvement of social media has also greatly aided to the teaching-learning process. All the teacher needs to do is to teach a class-lesson and put the related notes on his website or a link from where they can be easily available for students. Next comes the trend of recording and video graphing lectures. This has proved to be helpful in cases where a student is unable to attend the class in unavoidable circumstances.

Over usage of technological equipment such as mobile phones, laptops, iPod etc have made us no short of a handicap. Nowadays students are becoming too much dependable on technology even for their slightest need. For instance- take the example of a calculator, a device meant to make complex calculations in no time. But nowadays it is a common site to observe young children doing their simple calculations on a calculator.

Thus, although the advancement of technology has been the greatest boon to human history, a check needs to be kept on its usage. One should not forget that humans has made technology and not the other way round. It's time to decide where to draw the line.
